Do You Ever Wonder....
Ever Wonder how much of a kick God gets out of watching us?

Let me explain.. yesterday morning I noticed my bathroom sink was draining slowly.. so "morphing" before my 2 children's very eyes I became "Tim the Tool Man Taylor" and started working away on the sink. Actually... LOL.. it was more like Abby was asking me.. "why do you have all those tools..."

Anyway.. after trying to get the sink to unclog.. I finally whipped out the dreaded bathroom companion... the plunger.. MAN did I open up a can of worms! I started having stuff that I couldnt even tell you wht it was start coming up the drain. So after a bit I started talking logic to myself and to God.. "let me let it sit.. and it will go down on its own during the day."

Well .. off to St T's I went.. actually forgetting about it... until about 5:30pm I get a phone call from my wife asking me.. "whats wrong with our sink?"

So upon arring at home.. I start talking outloud to myself and God.. " no big deal.. let me take the trap off.. lead pipe from the sink.. snake it out.. clean up .. no biggie.. I 'll be sitting playing my NCAA football game and the kids will be off to bed in a jiffy.

BOY WAS I WRONG...
This is where I think either God wanted to test my patience last night.. or continue my growth in home repairs...
2 trips to Home Depot.. a new 25 foot snake.. more stuff that was beyond description coming from the toilet, sink and tub.. a toilet, then sink, then tub all getting backed up..a visit from my father in law with his plumbing wrenches (I left mine at St T's.. ARGH!!), taking my sink off its pedistal and from the wall, a hack saw, and more bleach then I knew want to do with..., FINALLY about 9:30pm we had it all done..

Finally after my wife put Emi to bed and I read to Abster and got her off to bed.. I sat down around 10pm.. and just started to laugh... "Yup God.. ya musta been laughing at that one!"

Well.. I lost a sweater to bleach. I got a new snake, and heh.. at least the water all goes down now!
